Video Game History Foundation

The Video Game History Foundation is a non-profit organization focused on preserving, celebrating, and educating the public about the history of video games. They have created the first dedicated research library for video game history and collected rare materials, contributing to a deeper understanding of the medium. The foundation also organizes pop-up museum exhibits and works to recover lost art for game companies.

The organization's blog features detailed analyses, including explorations of video game source code, lost games, and marketing trends dating back to the 1960s. They have recently surpassed 5,000 magazines in their digital archive, showcasing the extensive resources available. Donations are encouraged to support their efforts in capturing the legacy of video games.
